How to cooperate with CPE310
Physical connection: It is not directly plugged onto the backplane of the rack, but is installed on the side of the CPU or power supply. A dedicated cable of type IC695CBL001 must be used, with one end connected to the energy pack and the other end connected to the dedicated interface on the bottom of the CE310 CPU.
Regular energy storage: When the PLC is operating normally and powered on, CE310 continuously charges the energy pack through the connecting cable, keeping it in a "ready" state at all times.
Critical Moment: Once it detects a power outage in the external system, the energy pack will immediately take over the power supply. The power it provides is sufficient to enable the CE310 processor to completely write the running user program and critical data (stored in volatile RAM) into the non-volatile Flash memory.
Safe restart: Once power is restored, CE310 can directly retrieve the previously saved data from the Flash and seamlessly resume operation.
