It accepts AC 230V industrial mains input and, utilizing an internal isolation transformer and switching conversion circuitry, outputs multiple stable DC voltages. This powers the Procontrol P13/P14 rack backplane bus, supplying operating power to the rack's CPU and I/O modules.
