ABB CI856K01 Installation and Connection Key Points：
Mechanical Installation: The module must be mounted on a DIN rail.
Electrical Connection: The core component is connecting the S100 I/O cable. You need to connect the dedicated TK575 or TK580 cable to the 36-pin miniature ribbon connector marked "I/O" on the module base.
System Expansion: To connect to an S100 I/O rack, a bus extender (such as the DSBC174, DSBC176, or DSBC173A) is required.
However, the following technical features and limitations apply
Hot Configuration and HART Support: The module supports hot configuration during operation, meaning that modifications can be made to the system without shutting down. It also supports HART routing.
No Redundancy: This limitation requires special attention: The CI856 unit itself does not have unit redundancy. This must be considered when designing a high-availability system.
