A6500-RR is part of the AMS6500 ATG machinery protection system, featuring a fixed-slot layout:9 slots for measurement cards, 2 slots for relay cards (supporting redundancy).2 slots for communication cards (also supporting redundancy).

Distinguished from the other two rack models in the same series:

A6500-SR: Standard single-relay rack (supports up to 11 measurement cards and 1 RC relay card).

A6500-FR: Front-terminal rack.
