Installation Points

System integration installation

This module is installed on the I/O core rack (R1, R2, R3) of the Mark V control system.

It is connected to other system boards (such as STCA, TCQC boards), power supplies and terminal boards (such as TBQC, TBQB) through a series of specified connectors (such as 2PL, 3PL, JE, JF, etc.) for data and power.

Hardware jumper configuration The module is equipped with multiple hardware jumpers, which are used to configure its functions. For example:

J1 and J2: Used for selecting the milliampere output circuit.

J5 and J6: Used to configure the milliampere output current range (optional 20mA or 200mA).

J7: Used for conducting board card testing via the RS232 port.

J8: Used to start the oscillator.

Firmware (PROM) module operation

The firmware is stored in the removable PROM module on the module.

When replacing the module, the PROM on the old module must be moved to the new board to ensure consistency of program instructions and firmware. When operating the PROM, anti-static measures (such as wearing wristbands) must be taken, and direct contact with the pins should be avoided.
