Usage and Operating Tips
RTD excitation
Excitation current: The terminal board provides 10mA DC multiplexing (intermittent) excitation current for each RTD.
Configuration options: This current can be configured as grounded or floating ground.
System capacity and limitations
Number of connections: Up to 8 RTDs can be connected.
Transmission distance: RTDs can be installed up to 300 meters away from the control cabinet.
Line resistance: The maximum total resistance of the double-wire loop allowed by the system is 15 ohms.
Signal processing and sampling
Noise suppression: The terminal board integrates a similar onboard noise suppression function as the TRTD system to ensure stable signals.
Sampling mode:
Normal mode: The sampling frequency for each RTD signal and excitation current is 4 times per second.
Fast mode: The sampling frequency is increased to 25 times per second, with the sampling interval synchronized with the power system frequency. Linearization and Types: The processor supports 15 different types of RTD linearization processing to ensure the measurement accuracy and calibration of different RTDs.
