High-Speed Digital Signal Processing: The module detects and evaluates input signal edges and generates output edges.
Oversampling Mode: In oversampling mode, the module can acquire input signal patterns with low or high durations shorter than the X2X Link bus cycle time. Similarly, it can output signal patterns with extremely short high/low durations (for example, for drum sequencers). Oversampling allows for scan rates up to 25 µs.
High-Precision Timestamp Function: The built-in timestamp function, with a resolution of up to 125 nanoseconds, precisely records the time at which input edges occur, independent of the X2X Link bus cycle time.
Edge Detection: The module contains four edge detection units, each capable of measuring pulse duration or differential time. Each unit also features four history log elements for storing events.
