CI626A and CI627A are stand-alone AF 100 bus administrators that can be used when no other administration-capable devices are present on the AF 100 bus. (For example, AC 80 units connected by an AF 100 bus require an additional bus administrator.) The CI626A has coaxial AF 100 connectors while the CI627A has twisted-pair screw connectors.

Bus Management: The core function is to act as the AF100 bus manager, responsible for controlling the data flow on the bus and generating new transmission schemes for data sets based on configuration.
Redundant Design: Supports redundant communication media (dual coaxial cables), automatically switching when the main communication path fails to ensure uninterrupted critical process control.
Data Transmission: Supports two communication methods: process data for real-time monitoring and control, and message transmission for parameter loading and diagnosis. Hot-swappable: Supports online replacement when the system allows it, without the need to shut down, making maintenance more convenient.
