VIBRO METER(Meggitt) CP515 143-515-000-111 is piezoelectric pressure sensors
Range: 0 - 3000 kPa
A complete monitoring system is usually composed of sensors, extension cables and preamplifiers (signal conditioners).
Sensor: The core sensor is the CP515 (143-515-000-111) itself.
Preprocessor: The signal conditioner (preprocessor) used in conjunction with the CP515 sensor is the IPC707
Extension cable: The specific cable model used for connecting the sensor and the preamplifier is EC240, with part number 922-240-000-331.

Operating Principle
Pressure Conversion: When the dynamic pressure (such as pulsation and oscillation) in the combustion chamber of the gas turbine acts on the sensor, the piezoelectric elements (VC2 single crystal material) inside the sensor will deform due to the force.
Charge Generation: This mechanical deformation causes charges (Q) to be generated on the two opposite surfaces of the piezoelectric material. The amount of generated charge is proportional to the magnitude of the applied pressure.
Signal Transmission and Conditioning: This weak charge signal is transmitted to the matching IPC707P-CP515 preamplifier through the built-in mineral-insulated cable (and the optional extension cable EC240). Signal Output: The internal circuitry of the preamplifier converts the high-impedance charge signal into a low-impedance voltage or current signal (such as 4-20mA or standard voltage), and finally outputs it to the data acquisition system or vibration monitoring instrument (such as VM600), for display, analysis and protection.
