Protocol Conversion & Data Integration
The module acts as a gateway by translating proprietary RS485-based MMS6000 system data into universally compatible protocols like Modbus RTU/ASCII and TCP/IP. This enables seamless integration with distributed control systems (DCS), turbine control systems (DEH), and vibration analysis platforms.
Dual-Redundant Communication
Featuring redundant Modbus (RS485) and Ethernet ports, the MMS6823 ensures uninterrupted data transmission critical for mission-critical environments. Its dual-channel design supports fail-safe operations, minimizing downtime in power plants or heavy industrial settings.
Real-Time Data Acquisition
Utilizing parallel processing technology, it synchronizes data from up to 192 channels across MMS6000-series modules. This includes dynamic parameters like vibration waveforms, static measurements (e.g., shaft displacement), and alarm states, all sampled at configurable intervals up to 1,024 points.
Remote Configuration & Diagnostics
Operators can adjust connected sensors or MMS6000 modules via TCP/IP using EPRO’s MMS View software or remote desktop tools. This allows on-the-fly calibration and troubleshooting without physical access to hardware.
