This module acquires signals from binary transmitters and discrete alarm inputs, processes unit events and fault alarms, and interfaces with the P13 Local Bus to transmit alarm events to the P13 controller. It enables operators—via the monitoring station—to manage event interlocking, alarm memory, and alarm acknowledgment logic; it is a dedicated board for the HMI alarm subsystem of legacy P13 systems. Front-panel LEDs provide a clear, real-time display of alarm statuses for each channel, and the module supports audible and visual alarm outputs.
