Core Functions

The core structure of this product comprises a measuring coil and a vibrating block supported by spring plates. These measuring elements can move within a stable magnetic field generated by a circular magnet. Its natural frequency is in the 4-13Hz range, supporting vibration measurement in only one direction (vertical or horizontal). This structural design provides the necessary conditions for vibration signal capture.

When the sensor is installed on industrial equipment such as steam turbines or compressors, the vibration generated by the equipment's operation will cause the sensor housing to vibrate as well. Due to inertia, the internal vibrating block and measuring coil create a relative displacement with the permanent magnet vibrating with the housing. This means the measuring coil will move within the permanent magnet's magnetic field, cutting magnetic field lines.

The sensor's measuring coil features high output, low impedance, and strong anti-interference capabilities. Its output signal can be directly interfaced with EPRO's MMS 3000 and MMS 6000 rotating machinery monitoring and protection systems, eliminating the need for complex signal conversion and adaptation steps. This provides reliable raw data support for monitoring equipment vibration status and providing early warning of faults.
