Function and Features list
Signal processing procedure
The input signal is subjected to threshold setting and filtering through a resistor/capacitor network.
The optocoupler achieves electrical isolation between the on-site input and the logic circuit of the module.
The 16 input data are temporarily stored in the data buffer and are displayed in real time through the circuit LED to show the current status.
The parallel-to-serial converter converts the buffered data into the serial format required by the bus interface unit.
Bus interface unit interaction
The module first checks the board card ID and confirms that the logic power from the bus interface unit is normal (indicated by the power LED).
Subsequently, the bus interface unit reads the filtered and converted input data.
Input Type Configuration
Both positive input and negative input methods are supported, but all 16 inputs must be of the same type.
In both cases, when the switch is closed, a logical "1" (true value) is generated.
The working mode can be selected by connecting to the external power supply and the I/O terminal board:
Original input: The input device obtains current from the positive power bus and supplies current to the common terminal or the negative power bus. The device is connected between the positive power bus and the input terminal.
Negative input: The input device supplies current to the load and receives current from the common terminal or positive power bus. The device is connected between the negative power bus and the input terminal.
