ICS Triplex T8480 Core Function
Adaptive HART Communication Integration
The T8480 supports HART 7 protocols, enabling bidirectional communication with smart field devices for remote calibration, diagnostics, and configuration. This feature enhances predictive maintenance in applications like refinery valve control, where real-time parameter adjustments are critical. Field supply voltages (18–32 VDC) ensure compatibility with legacy actuators while maintaining signal integrity.
Redundant Precision Calibration
Features a ±0.1% full-scale calibration accuracy at +25°C, degrading to ±0.25% across an operational range of 0–60°C. Unique to this module is its ±350 µA standby swap bump tolerance, which prevents output disruption during maintenance or redundant system transitions.
Dynamic Power Group Isolation
Five isolated power groups provide 50 V reinforced continuous isolation and 250 V basic fault isolation between channels, tested at 2,436 VDC for 60 seconds. This design mitigates cascading failures in high-voltage environments like offshore platforms, ensuring uninterrupted operation during transient surges.
Typical cooperation cases
Middle East oil refinery: 300+ LDXRB-01s are used for pressure monitoring of catalytic cracking units, and are resistant to sulfide corrosion environments.
German chemical plant: Linked with ABB ACS880 inverters to optimize chlorine production process control.
Australian seawater desalination project: ABB LDGRB-01 Used for high-pressure reverse osmosis membrane group pressure monitoring, with an operating life of more than 8 years.
North American shale gas field:ABB LDGRB-01 Replace Rosemount 3051 to reduce the maintenance frequency of the wellhead pressure monitoring system.
