The ADV151-P60 is a 32-channel digital input module from Yokogawa, designed for industrial automation applications. It is typically used with Yokogawa’s DCS systems to acquire 24V DC switching signals from the field.
Typical input current values for a single channel at rated input voltage vary, with two different specifications: 4.1mA±20% and 8mA.
Input-to-system isolation voltage reaches 2kV AC; channel-to-channel isolation voltage (16 channels per group) is 500V AC.
Maximum permissible input voltage is 30.0V DC. Operating temperature range: -40°C to +70°C; storage temperature range: -40°C to +80°C; operating humidity: 5% to 95% RH (non-condensing).
Can withstand a maximum vibration of 10g.

Precautions for use
Installation and Visual Inspection
Before installation, check that the module casing is undamaged and that the pins are free from bending or oxidation. Use a compatible mounting unit during installation; standard DIN rail mounting is recommended. Avoid severe impacts during installation to prevent damage to the internal circuitry from vibration, and ensure adequate space for heat dissipation.
Wiring Procedures
Disconnect the power supply to all relevant circuits before wiring to prevent short circuits and module damage caused by live wiring. Use Yokogawa's dedicated AKB331 cable, preferably a flexible twisted pair with durable round crimp terminals to ensure good contact. Pay attention to the wiring sequence of each channel to avoid signal acquisition abnormalities. Double-check the wiring connections after completion.
Voltage and Load Control
Never input voltage exceeding the standard requirements, as this will burn out the module's internal circuitry. Strictly control the load on each channel to avoid exceeding the rated input current range. Prolonged overload will cause severe module overheating and shorten its lifespan.
Operation and Maintenance Points
Monitor the module's operating status via system software or indicator lights. If signal abnormalities occur, first check the channel wiring and front-end devices, then inspect the module itself. The module supports hot-plugging, but it must be operated smoothly to avoid damage to the interface by arcing due to excessive speed. During routine maintenance, the area around the module should be kept clean and away from oil, chemicals and other corrosive substances.
